Embrapa Amazônia Oriental - Belém/PA
This is one of the world's most important research centers for agroecology of the tropical humid region, contributing studies in the sustainable development of forestry, agriculture and livestock breeding activities in Eastern Amazon.
Its 136 researchers generate technologies and knowledge for the rational use and conservation of natural resources, the adequate use of the native forests and the improvement of the systems of production and land use in family agriculture.
