Embrapa South Animal Husbandry & Sheep
Embrapa Pecuária Sul - Bagé/RS
Development and modernization of integrated agricultural and livestock breeding systems in the South, especially with cattle and sheep, has been the major work of this center of 25 researchers.
Working in collaboration with research institutions from Uruguay and Argentina, they execute research in animal health, fodder and genetic improvement of animal and plants to help increase the quality and productivity and reduce costs in livestock breeding while at the same time safeguarding the environment.
