Embrapa created a tool to help the producer to control the stocking rate on pasture and so prevent overgrazing or subpastejo , one of the most common problems faced by the farmer . This is the grazing management rule that aims to determine the right time to enter and exit the cattle in the pasture. It indicates the correct height of at least eight species of grasses , different for each demarcation - upon entry of animals , green and output in the pasture , red color . In continuous grazing , for example, indicates the moment the tool to increase or reduce the number of animals in the pasture. In rotational grazing stocking the most suitable one that will allow the fodder consumption throughout a period of 3 to 6 days. Less...
