To perform the genetic management of breeding fish is used technology of marking fish through electronic devices ( tags) . All animals are recorded in a spreadsheet and tissues are collected for DNA analysis . The report presents the procedures involved in these three activities . The marking and control through data sheet are inexpensive techniques and help improve the quality of production . The technique allows to identify the origin of breeding , the genetic variability of the fish and make traceability throughout the supply chain.
