Summary: No setor agropecuário, são expressivas e crescentes as incertezas relacionadas com os preços recebidos pelos produtores rurais. Assim, utilizando como medidas as correlações entre preços internacionais de commodities, buscou-se apresentar indicativos de que, atualmente, a formação dos preços de produtos agrícolas é, também, muito condicionada por fatores não associados diretamente com a oferta e a demanda desses produtos. As análises indicaram que, além dos fundamentos de mercado, outros relevantes fatores têm influenciado na determinação das cotações dos preços de produtos agrícolas. Dentre esses fatores, estão os fundos de investimento. Analysis of correlations between oil international prices and international prices of agricultural commodities. In the agricultural sector, are significant and growing the uncertainties related to prices received by farmers. Thus, by measuring the correlations between international prices of commodities, this work aimed to present indicate that, currently, the prices of agricultural products are also strongly conditioned by factors not directly associated with supply and demand for these products. The analysis indicated that in addition to market fundamentals, other relevant factors influence the determination of prices of agricultural products. Among these factors are the investment funds.
